At Himalayan Youth Transformation (HYT), we believe that every child deserves access to education, no matter their background or circumstances. For many children in Nepal, especially in remote and unreached areas, education is a distant dream. HYT is working to change that.

The Challenge: Barriers to Education in Nepal

Thousands of children in Nepal grow up without access to basic education due to:

• Extreme Poverty – Families struggle to afford school fees, uniforms, and supplies.

• Geographical Isolation – Many villages are in mountainous regions, far from schools.

• Lack of Resources – Schools often lack teachers, books, and proper infrastructure.

• Cultural Challenges – In some communities, education, especially for girls, is not prioritized.

These obstacles make it difficult for children to dream beyond their daily struggles. But through God’s grace, HYT is reaching these children with the hope of education.

HYT’s Commitment: Supporting Over 300 Children

HYT provides notebooks, pencils, uniforms, and scholarships to more than 300 children across Nepal. Many of these children come from poor and orphaned backgrounds, and without this support, they would not be able to continue their studies.

Our goal is not only to educate but also to share the love of Christ through our work. By helping children get an education, we are planting seeds of hope, dignity, and transformation in their lives.

One of the children we support, Aashish, grew up in extreme poverty. His parents couldn’t afford school supplies, and he was on the verge of dropping out. With HYT’s help, he received notebooks, pencils, and a scholarship. Today, he is excelling in his studies and dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children like him.
